Job Description and Responsibilities

General Leadership of Wire Harness Department
- Develop relationship with customers
- Determine qualifications required by production personnel
- Supervision
- Oversee employees- conflict resolution
- Training of employees and maintain records
- Interview job applicants
- Employee reviews
- Set up system to determine best utilization of personnel and equipment
- Follow maintenance/set up system for equipment
- Develop system to determine schedule, need for overtime
- Ensure proper techniques for production and set up that follows MiOSHA guidelines
- Follow process for product returned from customer
- Steps to determine if product is to be rework or scrapped
- Root cause analysis to prevent errors from happening again
- Resource Utilization
- Safety

- 2 Years experience in manufacturing capacity
- 2 years experience in supervisory capacity
- Associates in manufacturing/business management field
- Electrical knowledge and experience
- Assembly
- Job shop experience
- Problem Solving
- Microsoft Office
- Mechanical aptitude
- Hands on worker
- Experience in 5S/Kaizen/lean methods
- Read and understand bill of materials
- Read and understand blue prints
