Location: Colorado Springs
Area Manager for utility locating company is responsible for maintaining a qualified staff of supervisors, leads and locators while instilling a culture of accountability for safety, quality, productivity, overtime and performance. Previous locating experience. Manage P&L for area, field inspections, quality control, manage damage ratio and productivity, perform performance evaluations and enforce company policy and procedures. Knowledge of the State Dig Law, experience with various locating equipment, procedure and print reading. Proficiency in computer usage, ability to communicate with staff of all levels and customers and conflict resolution skills. Direct report to the VP operations.
Willing to work extended hours and work outside normal work area if needed for periods of time, travel when necessary
Must have a clean DMV, pre-employment drug testing, background testing, and good physical condition for outside work when needed.
