Job Summary:
To immediately correct all minor malfunctions of the automatic pinsetter while bowling is in progress and to assist the mechanic in a formal preventive maintenance program for the pinsetter machines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleans pinsetters nightly with cleaner
Changes carpet covers per 8 machines nightly
Vacuums per 8 trough tracks, accel pulleys, brushes, turrets and clutches, on top of moving deck
Replaces kick-back plates, pulling old kick-back plate off the kick-back board. Sands kick-back board and reinstalls new kick-back plate with nails
Cleans an entire machine per work shift with the cleaner and rags
Troubleshoots pinsetter machines by climbing on machines, listening and observing
Inventories parts
Completes parts usage sheet and 51.20 per month
Oils lanes with a 150 pound lane machine
Repairs or replaces broken pieces of the pinsetter
Performs service on automatic pinsetter correcting pin jams and minor malfunctions and recording stops on stop sheet
Adheres to regular maintenance and cleaning schedule of pinsetter
Cleans, repairs, and refinishes pins. Replaces bad pins when necessary. Uses DBA spin clean machine
Cleans and replaces ball wipes and carpet covers per regularly established procedures
Keeps pit and stop area neat and clean at all times
Cleans and adjusts telescorers/scoring equipment
Provides friendly, courteous, polite, and helpful customer service
Assists with center Safety Program
Maintains safe environment for customers, employees and self
Qualifications
Experience Mechanical experience is helpful but not mandatory.
Education Level High school or equivalent.
