Summary: 

The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of a product or service beyond the initial sale. This person will be the key liaison between front end and back end roles, working with two support teams to achieve outstanding customer support and business growth.

General Responsibilities: 

• Develop and communicate the Project Plan and Scope with internal and external customers
• Establish manage and communicate expectations, milestones and status throughout the project with internal and external customers
• Create and manage all pertinent documentation
• Establish local maintenance-support relationship and perform related training.
• Support the Field Technicians during hardware-installation
• Manage site and or hardware issues during the hardware installation
• Manage software installation with software-delivery team
• Monitor system performance and communicate with stakeholders post-install
• Perform hardware and software training for the customer (remotely if possible, on-site if required)
• Build a strong relationship with the customer and develop opportunities for upselling and or new revenue streams with the sales team
• Customer service support as appropriate
• Site visits during the initiation and completion of the project

Minimum Educationand Experience Requirements: 

• A PMI certification or equivalent Project Management qualification is an advantage
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Qualification in a relevant discipline with strong computer skills.
• Familiarity with database management and or SQL
• Two to five years’ experience in a technology-based environment in a Project Management role
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Good team player with proven leadership ability
• Excellent people management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good diagnostic and problem solving skills with a strong ability to analyze data
• Effective organizational skills
• Have the ability to work on own initiative and to multi-task
• A confident, articulate, self-motivated, determined, energetic personality
