A Grand Rapids company is growing and is in need of an Interactive Graphic Designer to enhance their brand through effective interactive design including websites, display ads, email campaigns, social media and emerging channels. They are looking for a candidate that can drive business results by delivering assigned creative projects free of errors and within established budget and timeline while meeting the company or brands value proposition.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce graphical artwork required to support internal and external customer needs by delivering logos, check layouts, web images, and other graphical projects as needed.
• Translate direction given and design ideas into finished projects using knowledge of each brands value proposition and proficient use of design tools.
• Effectively communicate design decisions to marketing, product and sales management leadership.
• Design projects to market materially free of errors and within established timeline and budget.
• Serve as a resource within the company on best practices, design concepts, usability and technical skills of interactive design.
• Have required level of knowledge of tools and processes needed to develop and support print design projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years digital design experience.
• Expert with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, CSS-Based Table-Less Layouts, HTML – including hand coding, FLASH (Actionscript), InDesign and Illustrator.
• Understand cross-browser compatibility, including Firefox, IE 6, 7, 8, Chrome and Safari
• Experience deploying emails with interactive software.
