Auto Tech Centers is currently looking for a Service Manager who will be responsible for not only managing the service department but running the entire shop. Responsibilities will be scheduling technicians and service appointments, meeting budget objectives and assisting technicians when help is needed. The Service Manager is also responsible for making sure that high quality work is delivered on time, the service department is a safe and clean work environment, outstanding service and responsiveness is provided to customers, all Service Department personnel are properly trained and any service related problems with either customers or staff are resolved quickly and completely. The Service Manager must explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other associates and customers and continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology. The right person will have the appropriate ASE Certifications, excellent experience and credentials and the ability to maintain an organized service department. The Service Manager will also be able to exhibit the leadership necessary to encourage, motivate and support the staff. |
